Description

Jure Demšar is an assistant professor and a researcher at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science. His research interests lie in neuro informatics, collective behaviour, modelling of natural phenomena, and game development.

Activities and COLLABORATIONS
  • Collaboration with Washington University in St. Louis (Connectome Coordination Facility) on the Human Connectome Project.
  • Collaboration with Yale University (Anticevic Lab) on the Qu|Nex project.
  • Three months long research visit at the Newcastle University (The Game Lab and the Institute of Neuroscience).
  • Three months long research visit in prof. Charlotte K. Hemelrijk's lab at the Universtiy in Groningen.
  • One month long research visit at the Computer Graphics and Interactive Media Lab at the University of Houston.
  • Inovativna shema awardee - awardee of a scholarship for promising PhD students.
