Second-cycle Master's study programme track
mag. inž. rač. in pod. ved (MAG)
A highly-selective program track for students with a strong background in mathematics, computer science, and/or applied statistics. The track features a demanding curriculum that focuses on equipping the students with the theoretical foundations and practical skills that they need to become leading data science professionals, researchers, or teachers of data science. In the case of limited enrollment, candidates are selected based on their undergraduate GPA and an entrance exam.
The entrance exam will include mathematics (40% of the grade), programming (40%), algorithms (10%), and computer systems (10%). It will take place on Friday, 11 September 2020, at 4 PM at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Večna pot 113, Ljubljana. International students’ application procedure – basic steps
Apply via eVŠ portal and send the application to University of Ljubljana.
Submit documents by email podiplomski.studij@fri.uni-lj.si together with the application.
You will be informed about the selection process in September.

Pre-enrollment and Scholarly Projects
International students might be particularly interested in the Pre-enrollment process which starts early in the year and is aimed at identifying outstanding applicants and guiding them through the enrollment process.
A limited number of students will also be offered the opportunity to participate in a Scholarly Project - a 2-year project where the student gains experience by working on a real-world industry or research problem as part of their Master’s coursework. Such students will be provided with financial support, including tuition.
